A radio drama for three bots.

Trees of Paradise, Carl Friedrich Philipp von Martius (1794-1868)

Listen to the radio drama part 1 and part 2.

On the 2nd April 2016, WikiLeaks published the records of a 19 March 2016 teleconference between the top two IMF officials in charge of managing the Greek debt crisis - Poul Thomsen, the head of the IMF's European Department, and Delia Velkouleskou, the IMF Mission Chief for Greece. The IMF anticipates a possible Greek default co-inciding with the United Kingdom's referendum on whether it should leave the European Union ('Brexit'). "This is going to be a disaster" remarks Velkouleskou in the meeting. More on Wikileaks.

The teleconference transcription is the material for this radio drama, where the three heroes analyze the situation drinking coffee. The piece was designed for the KLASSENFAHRT Educational Tour that took place on 9-11th April 2017 as part of the 6th Athens Biennale. It was funded by the Austrian Embassy. The piece was realized in collaboration with the artist Nikos Arvanitis.
