A workshop for teenagers on personal data, digital trace and the use of the search engine. How often and for what reasons are we using the search engine? How can we understand this archive of the self constructed in absentia? What is the privacy of the screen? What if we activate this diary by writing stories, sketching comic strips, staging performances or even composing songs? Can we rewrite our online identity? After downloading their search history the participants revive one day in the search engine gaining in this way insight into the function of the search engine and the search as a procedure per se. This workshop was initially designed for the Athens Science Festival and commissioned by the Onassis Cultural Centre. Please contact me for further information.
