I focus on the relations and interactions between technology and society. Through installations and narration I investigate subjects such as power of information, perception and construction of the self, memory, oblivion, death. Reoccurring in the artistic and research practice these quests are defined in my work by the current technological development and its socio-political impact, the ways is augments, forms and directs our abilities, desires, perception. In my works I deal with these issues having as starting point the self (Deletion Process), the locality (The Aegean Datahaven) or the inter-locality (megastructures, Eternal U). Can we create a new language, new metaphors in order to have a glimpse about the new world that appears?

A substantial dialogue with the public is vital to me, therefore my work includes workshops, talks and papers/essays, which get presented on conferences and published on journal or online platforms (Leonardo Journal MIT, Melbourne Triennial).

I hold a BA Hons. in Visual Arts and an MA in Digital Arts from the Athens School of Fine Arts. I have also completed graduate studies on Social Anthropology at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences in Athens, Greece and postgraduate studies on Visual Anthropology at Leiden University in Leiden, Netherlands.
