Working across media I focus on the relations and interactions between technology and society, bringing in dialogue the local and the global perspective. Through expanded installations and narration I investigate subjects such as power of information, perception and construction of the digital self, alternative infrastructures and alternative networks as well as human machine interaction. A substantial dialogue with the public is vital to me, therefore my work includes workshops, talks and papers/essays, which get presented on conferences and published on journal or online platforms (Leonardo Journal MIT, Melbourne Triennial). I hold a BA in Visual Arts and an MA in Digital Arts from the Athens School of Fine Arts, where I also obtained a teacher education. Prior to that I obtained graduate and postgraduate degrees on Social Anthropology in Athens and in Leiden, Netherlands. Requests for extra info and extended CV to
